SOUTH WOODHAM FERRERS 2nd XI 125 AAL OUT

P & C WON BY 46 RUNS.

Despite losing a number of players to West Ham football, P & C put up a determined performance away to South Woodham on Saturday.

P & C batted first and recorded a respectable 171 off their 45 overs overs against Woodham’s young attack. Baary Martin (48), Aaron Bates (34) and Bob Witt (33) all batted sensibly.

In reply Woodham looked like causing an upset as their skipper scored a quick 50 but once he was out Woodham did not have the batting to reach P & C’s target. Dave Laurie (snr) took 3 wickets and Aaron Bates took 2 wickets.
