P & C continued their winning run against Galleywood at home on Saturday. At the half way stage they are top of the table having lost only one game.

Galleywood batted first and made steady progress reaching a competitive 168 for 6 off 45 overs. Oldfield top scored for Galleywood with 51.

In reply P & C slumped to 86 for 4 – effectively for 5 with Barry Martin having to retire hurt – but Ian Rudder saw P & C home with a hard hitting 93 not out.
