P & C LOST BY 13 RUNS.

P & C slumped to a surprise defeat against lowly Hullbridge on Saturday.

Hullbridge batted first and struggled to 107 all out. Palmer (44) top scored for Hullbridge. Lorry Perry (4 for 40) and Alex Coulson (3 for 34) were P & C main wicket takers.

In reply P & C produced an awful batting display. Last man Danny Freeman (12) briefly gave them hope but were dismissed for 94. Sawyer returned impressive figures of 12 overs,

1 maiden, 7 wickets for 37 runs.
