Fantasy League Rules 2006

The points awarded for the competition will be based from all Saturday games starting from 6th May and ending on 3rd September. (18 weeks)

1. Each entry costs £10 payable on submission of entry.

2. Closing date for entries is Friday 5th May.

3. No entries will be accepted after this date.

4. Prize money will be dependant on the number of entries received.

1st will receive 40% of the entry money pool.

2nd will receive 25% of the entry money pool.

3rd will receive 10% of the entry money pool.

25% will contribute to club funds for future projects.

In the event of a tie that prize will be shared equally.

Highest placed female entrance obtains free entry for following season.

5. Your team must consist of 11 players.

6.Each player has been assigned a fantasy rating and your team must not exceed 75 in value. Look out for the bargain players to keep you under the limit.

7. Two players will be allowed to be transferred during a set period only. Points will be calculated for the changes from the next match. That period will be from 18 June – 9 July.

No other transfers will be permitted outside of this period.

8. Points are awarded for the following based on information from the scorebooks.

      Batting points

       1 Point per run.

       100’s = 100 bonus points.

       50’s = 50 bonus points.

       Not Outs = 10 points

       Ducks = -50 points

 

Bowling Points

Each wicket = 20 points.

5 wicket innings = 50 bonus points.

7 wicket innings = 100 bonus points.

Maiden over = 5 points.

Runs conceded = -0.5 points every run condeded.

 

Fielding Points

Each catch = 15 points.

Each stumping = 20 points.

Bonus points

The team scoring the highest amount of points during a month will receive 100 bonus points. If more than one team share the highest number of points during the month then each of the teams will receive 100 points. 4 months available starting with May and September is not included

League tables will be displayed on a weekly basis on a club notice board or accessed via the club website.
