ANNUAL PAYMENT SYSTEM

AIMS:

·        To avoid the problems of collecting money after the game.

·        To ensure a regular income.

·        To encourage members to make themselves available for selection and to encourage commitment.

The annual payment is deemed to include match fees, teas and a membership fee. The payment is based on fourteen and a half games at £ 6.50 per game plus £50 pa section membership.

This calculates to £144 p.a. Students are entitled to a one-third discount (£96 p.a.). Juniors (under 16’s) are excluded from this system but will be charged a nominal £1 p.a.

Members must also be aware that they must be members of the Pegasus Club.

Members are encouraged to attend net practise (indoor & outdoor) and to make themselves available for indoor matches which are provided free-of-charge.

All members have equal selection rights.

If members play less than 11 games per year they are entitled to a refund at the rate of £6.50 per game. Membership fees are not taken into account.

The Treasurer will make refunds at the end of the year, as necessary. Members may also request refunds due. Any refunds do not affect membership rights.

There may be times when there are not enough members available to field a side. Section guests, who must be members of the Pegasus Club, can then be invited to play. They are not expected to pay but obviously have no section membership rights nor can gain selection above a section member.

Annual subscriptions should preferably be paid by monthly standing order but may also be paid by instalments providing at least one half is paid before the start of the season and the balance by the end of July.

Members who are in arrears will be excluded from selection. The main committee of the Pegasus Club will also be advised.
